NINE MONTHS

This girl is getting so big and is the sweetest little thing!I told her this morning that she has been out as long as she was in- but she obviously didn't get it ;) Heidi continues to be so sweet and happy most of the time. She thrives on social interaction and gets fussy if she feels like she isn't getting the attention she deserves. She is now up to four teeth- two on the bottom and two on the top, although the two on the top are just barely out and have stayed that way for a couple weeks. As you can tell, her eye problem from last month cleared up quite nicely. Turns out it wasn't truly pink eye, but was an infection, probably from the clogged tear duct. It appears to have cleared up completely since she doesn't have a watery/goopey eye at all anymore. Maybe the infection cleared it out or maybe the massaging that one of the doctors showed me helped. We are so glad its all better. Heidi loves to eat and gets very excited when she sees me preparing food. She isn't really a fan of fruit yet, but loves her rice cereal and veggies. Maybe I just need to try some more fruits.
Like I said above, Heidi is very social and enjoys being passed from person to person. She will happily sit in the arms of whomever has her, but the minute someone else comes along, she reaches and wants that person to hold her instead. She likes to go back and forth quite a bit. She even does this with complete strangers, like if Austin and I are talking to a sales associate at a store. She had some ladies at a furniture store all giddy because she let them hold her for awhile. We are just waiting for the "stranger danger" phase to kick in.
She isn't crawling yet, but doesn't sit for long before throwing herself forward and trying to get into crawling position. This usually doesn't last long before she ends up sprawled on her belly, but she can't wait to get crawling. For now, she is happy to roll where she needs to be. Asher is also more than willing to pick her up and drag her all over the house.

As you can see by her tummy, Little Miss is quite chubby :) We love giving her raspberries on that fat little tummy and pinching all the excess fat on her bum and thighs.

I included this picture so you can see one of Heidi's favorite pass times- poking her index finger at things. She especially loves to stick it in people's mouths, but will poke at almost anything.
