Asher's Concerto in A minor

13 Months

Our baby is getting so big! He is getting closer and closer to walking, but for now prefers crawling around at top speeds. He is eating large quantities of food as always, is still fascinated by putting small things into any container he can find, makes new friends where ever he goes, loves crawling into small places and up onto high places, his aunt Niccolle taught him to give high fives, he loves to mimic the things he sees other people doing, and he is getting better at waving at the appropriate time- rather than just whenever it strikes him to wave.

Bowling

I found coupons that allow kids to bowl free for the rest of the summer. Asher is a little young for bowling, but his cousins, Ben and Paul, are just old enough (with quite a bit of help it turns out :) Austin and I took all three boys bowling last week. Asher didn't bowl, but had fun watching his cousins and Austin had fun trying to help the boys. He actually did a really good job because they both wound up with pretty high scores. We tried for a picture after the two games, but as you can see the boys were quite distracted by the bowling balls.
We can't wait to do it again this week- free bowling until the end of August!

Week 24

This pregnancy seems like it is going by a lot faster than the last one! It might be that although I'm super excited to meet this new little guy, I have my hands full with Asher and having two is going to be a whole new world! I guess I'm just enjoying this pregnancy even more than last one because I'm not as anxious to get this baby out. I don't think Asher understands at all what is coming or how much his life is going to change in a few months.

Water Park

One of the things we love about Fort Collins is a park that has a water playground. Its just a regular park with an area with lots of fountains for kids to play in. Asher needed a little help from Dad while he was playing, but he loves getting wet.
