4 Months

Our little Leif is 4 months old! He is getting more and more interactive and wants to be up and looking around all the time. He is in a bit of an awkward phase right now because he wants to be up constantly, but he doesn't have all the strength he needs to hold himself up. So he just fusses and wants me to have him up and walk around with him a lot so he can see new things. Unfortunately, his sleeping has gotten worse in the last month or so. I'm hoping its just because of our trip and his sickness and that he will get back to normal pretty soon.

20 Months

Its been a week or so since Asher turned 20 months- but with getting back from our trip, everyone being sick, and trying to get back into our schedule, things have just not been getting done. I'm just starting to feel a little more normal. As you can see, I didn't even get around to washing Asher's face after lunch before Austin took these pictures ;)

Utah/Idaho Trip

We made a quick trip to Utah and Idaho this month. Since my mom and Abbey were here and heading back to Utah anyway, we decided to go with them, then Austin picked us up on his way to Idaho- a trip we were planning on making anyway. Leif got to meet his other grandpa for the first time and Asher had fun seeing him again too.

Asher and Grandpa had an especially fun time peeling oranges together.

Every morning, they ate yogurt and granola together and fed Bella "monkey treats" (the elk meat that my dad feeds her for breakfast every day)

Asher liked playing in grandpa's "guk".

We got to visit Great Grandma Patty too- Leif met her for the first time. We tried to get a picture with Asher in it too, but he wouldn't stand still for long enough :)

Asher loved helping grandpa sweep up the backyard. He is crazy about brooms and was excited to use one all by himself.

They watched basketball and ate pizza together.

When we got to Great Grandma & Grandpa's house, Ben was excited to see Leif and played with him on the bed for quite awhile. Leif loved the attention. He also liked talking to Great Grandpa. This is one of our most treasured videos :)

A Perfect Spring Afternoon

My mom and sister came out to visit this week. The weather has been really back and forth- warm one day and snowing the next. Luckily it was perfectly warm and sunny on the afternoon that we decided to go visit a little farm in Fort Collins. Asher had a lot of fun running around and liked the animals, but was a little unsure about getting too close, especially to their mouths. Leif slept the whole time and only woke up as we were leaving because he wanted to eat.
