Asher was a gnome for Halloween- David the Gnome to be exact. Its a PBS kids show that Austin watched when he was little and introduced to me about a year ago. I made the coat and hat out of felt and he already had the pants and boots. All in all it was a pretty inexpensive costume that we thought turned out well. We wanted to give him a white beard to complete the costume, but thought it would bug him too much.At our ward trunk-or-treat party most of the kids thought he was Gnomeo from that new movie Gnomeo and Juliet and a few of the adults thought he was the travelocity gnome- I guess Austin was the only one who watched David the Gnome :)
