I'm a little late on this post, but a few weeks ago we went up the Poudre Canyon with plans on hiking to the beaver ponds up there. Since we took the van, we couldn't go as far up the road as we would have liked and had to walk a bunch of that. After several miles, the younger kids were too tired to go further, so we just stopped where we were, hung up the hammocks and had a picnic lunch. Torben had a great time and we all had fun too. I especially loved the aspen trees!
