We did lots of baking this year, like we usually do. The kids always love when we do sugar cookies because of how involved and creative they get to be. We always send a batch of cookies to Grandpa Sid so the kids love to make "Grandpa Delights" which are cookies with lots of extra frosting on them.
We also made several other types of cookies this year to eat ourselves and to share with neighbors. I also decided to make some Christmas bread, which I haven't made in a few years and the kids were very interested in. Leif was especially interested and wanted to make his own loaves on Christmas, which turned out very well!
