I discovered that 1) Ontario is giving away free day-passes for the weekdays to their provincial parks and 2) we have a nice provincial park called Sibbald Point about 20 minutes from our house. I told some friends about it and we all got a free pass for the same day and took the kids for some outdoor fun with friends. It turned out to be a bit chilly and rainy- we were only there for about two hours before a complete downpour began, but we had fun while it lasted and I hope to do this many more times throughout the summer!
