We visited a local farm this week, which both of the girls were extremely excited about. I've taken the two older boys here a few times before we moved to Canada, but I think Heidi was too young to remember going. Austin's mom joined us and the kids had fun seeing the animals and pretending to drive the tractors.
Heidi was super excited to see horses. She is dying to ride horses, but I'm still trying to figure out how to make that happen since we don't know anyone who owns them.
We also saw ponies, cows, sheep, chickens, pigs, turkeys, and goats.
The most exciting part of the visit was that two baby goats were born
while we were there. We didn't actually see either of the births, but we
saw the kids within minutes of being born and watched them trying to
stand while their mom cleaned them up and took care of them.
I remember going there before you left for Canada !! it was always just so very interesting for all of us !! love you all again Nonna
