Leif is Eleven!

 

Leif had a pleasant birthday that started with chocolate waffles and ended with a pumpkin pie (fresh- not left over from Thanksgiving!) In between we went to the museum as a family and he played with his siblings. He got some fun presents from grandparents and overall had a very nice day.

As usual Austin's parents came over for chocolate waffles.

We went to all of Leif's favorite museum stops including the space exhibit and the dinosaur exhibit. There were also two special exhibits that we had never seen before- one about color and the other about ice, which were fun and interesting.

The last time Leif chose pumpkin pie for his birthday treat, we used the letters from a Cinnamon Life box to write Leif's name, so the kids wanted to do it again this time. Leif and Heidi each cut out a set, I'm not sure which they used on the pie. Austin let them play with matches for awhile before we sang to Leif- Dad's antics are always fun!

What song do you like the best? Sonatina in F (he's playing this on the piano)

What is your favorite cereal? Reeses Puffs (He claims he's had these, I guess he ate them when Austin was eating them)

What do you want to do when your grow up? Design Space Stuff

What are you really good at? Legos

Where do you wish you could go on vacation? Oregon

What would you buy if you had a lot of money? The world

What is your favorite dinner? Chicken Rolls with Broccoli Puffs (this is what I tease Austin that Reeses Puffs are called on the rare occasion that he buys them. We had chicken rolls for Leif's birthday dinner, but unfortunately, no Broccoli Puffs.)

If you could have a wish, what would it be? To have a lot of money so I can buy the world

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? Mint Chocolate Chip

Who do you want to be like? No one

What do you like to do with your friends? Shoot guns (obviously this only happens occasionally and at a shooting range.)

What do you hope you'll get to do before your next birthday? Go to Oregon (lucky for him, we are planning a trip there next summer)

What is your favorite thing to do? Read (he's been going through series of books like crazy in the last few months.)

What are you proud of? No answer

What are you afraid of? Fear

What is Mom's favorite thing to do? Sew

How strong is Dad? Oh so strong

What does Dad do best? Buy stuff

What does Mom do best? Tell dad not to buy stuff

What do you like best about Dad? His motorad (German for motorcycle)

What do you like best about Mom? She reads to us.
