It has been hot! So the kids really wanted to go play in the river. What they really wanted is to go tubing, but I can't do that without Austin, so I just took them to the river to play until we are able to find a weekend when Austin can take us.
Of course we brought Torben and I let him run around off leash most of the time since we were on a little "island" of rock in the river and he was so interested in what the kids were doing, that he didn't pay too much attention to other people or their dogs.
The kids found a little "waterfall" with a strong current to sweep them through and played in that for a long time.
Ben joined us about half way through- the kids always love spending time with their cousins.
