Tubing in the Poudre Canyon

Trevor has been eager to go tubing for at least a month now. We finally found a weekend that was free and warm enough (the river is super cold, so it has to be really hot out!), so we took all the kids up the Poudre Canyon. Austin and the three boys went first while the girls and I played with Torben in the river.

Asher and Leif have been down the river multiple times last summer, so they were pros this year. Leif said that the most exciting part about it was falling off his tube.
When Austin and Trevor got down to the end point, Trevor had a hard time stopping, so Asher had to help him. He was super cold and said that the big rocks made him a little nervous.

We decided to have our picnic lunch and decided not to do another run since Trevor was so cold, even after I had wrapped him in our picnic blanket for awhile. I'm not sure that we'll get another chance to go this year, but hopefully it will be a better experience for Trevor next summer.
