Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day! The boys came into our room nice and early as usual, but instead of rolling around and wrestling, they held pretty still and Asher rubbed my back for about 10 minutes: in a 3-year-old-sort-of-way. We got up after a bit and Austin made crepes for breakfast and we had a nice relaxing morning before church. After church, Austin's dad came over and helped Asher make homemade pasta and he and Austin made a delicious Italian dinner packed full of vegetables.
It was really fun to watch Asher help make the pasta. He was in charge of turning the handle and was quite proud of how big and strong he is (as he often is) although he needed help from Austin sometimes.
I had to wake Leif up from a nap so that he wouldn't miss out on the fun, but instead of wanting to help, he was content to watch and eat some bread.

For dessert, we had chocolate mousse. We were a little worried that the boys would think it wasn't sweet enough, but they loved it! Here Leif is thoroughly enjoying his :)
