Happy Canada Day!

We decided to try another local beach to celebrate Canada Day this year. This one had a bit more beach, but was still quite small compared to an ocean beach (or even other lake beaches I've been to). We went early again to avoid all the crowds and its a good thing we did. We got there a little before 9:00 and the kids played in the sand and water for a few hours before tons of people started showing up and we decided to head up to the playground/grass area to have a picnic and dry off. It was a very fun activity to do all together as a family! Asher and Leif were very excited about the rocks containing some shell fossils that they found with Austin, Heidi and Trevor were so happy to play in the sand, and Natalie and I enjoyed hanging out together on the beach!
