Austin's brother Kenny and his family came to Colorado, so we all got together. Their dad rented a lodge up in the mountains for everyone to stay at for a couple nights. We had fun eating together, playing on the little lake, and playing games and puzzles. It was so nice to have all the cousins together.
Most of the kids slept all together in one big room, which meant that they didn't get as much sleep as they should have, but had a lot of fun.
I didn't capture it because they were moving too fast for my camera lens, but the kids spent hours racing around in the basement on plasma cars (wiggle cars). Here is Leif being a road block.
We saw some deer from the balcony or whenever we went down the driveway. Everyone was most excited to see the mama deer with twin fawns.
We had professional family pictures taken, so I took a few shots while everyone was standing around waiting for their turn.
As you can see Leif was getting quite annoyed with the all the photos, especially by the end. He didn't like getting dressed up, but mostly was just hungry and tired. We had dinner right afterward, but Leif was missing because he had fallen asleep. By the time he woke up we had cleaned up dinner and he was very upset, but was quickly calmed down when I got him a taco and some ice cream.
